This past Sunday was a perfect spring day in Virginia Beach for a maternity photo shoot at Fort Story. I would have liked a few more clouds to soften the sun, but I can’t complain! This Mom and Dad-to-be are close friends of ours and we are so excited for them to welcome their first child this May.
The plan was to take photos at the base of the Cape Henry Lighthouse; however, a group of 15+ Girl Scouts showed up right before us. We really wanted a quiet, private spot for our portraits so we chose to be spontaneous and head to the beach. Here’s a little look at our time together!
Terri, from Bell of the Ball, donated a beautiful, handmade teal and grey maternity sash for our shoot. The colors were chosen specifically to match the little one's room!
